Hey don't get me wrong, I think singles can be fun too. But from my personal experience, that has really turned me off the singles mode for competitive play.
But point is that it is possible and extremely easy to do with absolutely no possible counter. People still do it in teams, but at least you can use supports and SB to kick them off their turtling asses.
Also, jump-blocking has become a lot more popular recently, even though it wasn't a big problem in your tournaments a few months ago.

Don't answer that I don't want to know. Anyways I think team battles are more interesting because it has a lot of possibilities, however it does make turtling, jump block, and one hit than run away easier.

With supports, all of those things are harder to do. No supports is like unstoppable turtling....the whole tourny would be turtle madness.

well, depends on the support I guess, turtler with hinata and neji on guard support would be hard to get through. But enough about that, its not like talkin about its gonna solve it. In any case I hope we all have fun and dount get turtler, jump blockers, ect.

I'm fine with puppets either way, but I looked at both the PS3 and 360 brackets yesterday and it was dominated in Sasori users which is boring. Your biased anyways loco, being Sasori user, so don't beat on the people who don't like and/or don't use him.
Themed tourneys would be cool, it would force people to think outside their strict character boxes.
I do have a question though, can we change our character before the tourney start? I haven't played in a while, so I just put a fall back character, but I might want to change if I get the chance to play before then.

Everyone is allowed to change their character before the Tournament starts. But only before. You must re-submit your register request and put in the profile that you are changing your character.

Well it seems like almost half of Xbox 360 sign ups are Sasori users, while the PS3 has a lot of variety in characters. We also wanted to ask you people if you think Best out of 5 is enough or should it be raised to a Best out of 7?
This tournament is also in its way a test tournament to see how people can handle the site's features. The prize for this tournament are just Avatar Awards so loosen up a bit, you can still change your characters if you want. Just do what I have said above.
As for greater prizes, we'll see how this one goes first, and how the site holds up.
Also *IMPORTANT* Please make sure to give your full character name. Just naruto or just sasuke doesn't help me know which type you are choosing. I need that info. Thanks.

Not Another team tourney 'Common Sumbody!'
I wont be joining this 1, i was looking forward to a singles tournament. I mean, if people really want to have a fun tourny we need to implement some rules. For team tourney, I was thinking only the use of one balanced support only.
1. Whats the worse a balanced support can do (shurikens) easely dashebale. 2. Save you from ougi from people who like to abuse ougi's after you are open from knj.
Finally there should be a rule where you cant jutsu/ougi after you are open from knj. Because we really have people who abuse jutsu after you are open. e.g naruto&minato users.
If we dont use these rules, then the fights are just going to be lame(Ranked online matches). People are just going to play this game like its a shooter, spam supports, bomb/tag & ougi. Same old same old. Im just a one man ninja i cant change the world....
Teddy out Seemeh!
