Now that we have the TK site up and running things seem to be running a lot smoother and with a successful Storm 2 community and MvC3 community growing I think its about time we start thinking about a new game to host.
So let us know your thoughts on any games you would like to see, they can be 1 console exclusive and not even on the PS3 or 360, even XBL or PSN arcade games if they are online.

Haha, I was talking to someone about this very topic just the other day. They're vote is with SSFIV, Blazblue, or Tekken 6
Personally, I really liked AC Brotherhood's multiplayer. It was a cool, novel, and well executed mode but it's anything but competitive. That would be really hard to turn into a tournament anyways.
Most of the games I'm looking forward to this year are single player affairs (ESV: Skyrim, Batman Arkham City, etc.) but there are some multiplayer games I'm keeping my eye on. Namely, Crysis 2, Mortal Kombat, Section 8 Prejudice, and Brink.
You plan on having Gears 3 tourneys Assassin? The beta comes out next month.
Is there anyone here interested in tourneys for different genre's? Specifically the racing and sports genre's? I'm not a sports game player but there were some great racing games to come out of last year and they could make some interesting tournaments via 1v1 or 4 to 8 player free for all races. That being said, Need For Speed Hot Pursuit, GT5, Split/Second, and the upcoming Shift 2 Unleashed would all fit that bill.

hmm well me personally pretty much the only game im really looking forward to this year i Gears3, I was even thinking of a having a King of the Beta tourney for Gears 3, but that might be difficult to pull off knowing how fast teams fall apart especially in the beta i would assume.
I personally dont like sports games but i remember watching the Championship Gaming Series before it got canceled and saw some Forza 2 racing, it was 2v2, it was actually pretty damn fun to watch, because first place got 4 points, 2nd got 2, 3rd got 1, and 4th got none, per race, so it was always having 1 teammate push the other one of the win, or one trying to crash the other team.

If a Racing game would be an option, i'd definitely like to see a Split/Second Tourny. Problem is i bet no one here owns it and wasn't planning on getting it, or even knew it was worth getting.
I mean in terms of competitive gameplay, Spli/Second is almost the best, since games like forza and gran turismo are, well... a bit too competitive, i guess? I don't know how else to put it.

Yes! Another Split/Second fan! Haha. That was easily my favorite racing game of last year. Man that game was intense. Sure, the courses got repetitive once you knew all of the power plays but half the fun was knowing how to use them all to your advantage.
@assassin, yeah some friends of mine had hosted a Mario Kart tourney last year and that ***** was intense

I like sports games so I would play one if there was a tourny, but as for racing games I like Blur. It had power up like in mario kart, but also had nice fast cars to use as well.

Personally, It's not possible with our tourney system but any Clash of Ninja game would be great. Clash of Ninja Revolution 3, the last US release of the series would be great, if it had a functional lobby or online pvp system aside from friend codes. grrr

I am willing to put up a tourney for ABC, but i dont know how that game works, I dont own it or never played it. if someone is willing to step up and take the position of main admin for a certain game. And go advertise and get people for that tourney. that would be great. |
