1. Can you do 1 vs. 1 fights? 2 vs. 2? All of the videos I've seen show 3 vs. 3.
2. In multiplayer are there multiple player lobbies? Like in Street Fighter.
3. Another Street Fighter question. Are there tournament and team lobbies?
4. Are there any super combos that last forver like in MvC2? Some of the videos I've seen show long combos and the one being attacked couldn't do anything (or at least thats how it looked).

To answer your questions.
1. No, the game is only 3v3 fights.
2. Online, there are lobbies for up to 8 players. However, you cannot spectate matches that you aren't in.
3. Tournament mode didn't make the cut but hopefully it gets patched in. Uh not sure how to answer the other half of your question considering all matches are "team matches". It doesn't support something like team tournaments or clan wars if that's what you are referring to. Unless they patch the lobby system that's something that we'll have to figure out how to schedule ourselves. Stupid Capcom
4. No one's found any yet. Returning heavyweights like Magneto, Storm, and Sentinel have all been nerfed so that, while they are all strong, they won't be able to pull off insane combos with out a proper assist or crossover air raid. However, with characters like Dante who have an uncanny amount moves at their disposal I wouldn't be surprised if someone found an insane combo. Infinite? No, the tweaks made to hitstun and gaurdstun as well as the possibility to cancel out of combos with X-factor prevent infinites.
Hope that helps

Thanks! Hopefully tournament mode and team play will be patched in and not DLC that you have to pay for.
Better explaination, but you already answered it anyways - In SSFIV you can play 4 player vs 4 player matches. The 1st 2 players fight, then the winner stays and the other person is out. It keeps going until one team has no players left.
Sucks you can't spectate either. Feels like they are going backwards.
