I'm not gonna name names, but thanks to SOMEBODY I want to play a new mmorpg. I prefer a free one. NOTHING TEXT BASED!
List ones that you've played and what you thought of them.
I'll start, might be missing some.
These are only the ones that I've played at least 20 hours in. There were a lot that were just so bad I couldn't even play.
Lord Of The Rings Online - My favorite MMORPG at the moment. It is free to play and amazing. It is very casual, so there is NO grinding : ) Need stuff in it, ask me and I'll hook you up.
Runescape - Was fun when I played, but it's way too old now and feels lame compared to newer ones. If they made a version with much updated graphics and different controls, I would play.
FFxi - Way too much grinding for me. 20 levels in 20 hours and no Chocobo.....nuff said
Maple Story - Playing again.
Pirates of the Carribean Online - Was really fun, but none of my friends played. The ship battles were the best part of the game and I never even got to a high lvl!
Phantasy Star Online - It's the same as singleplayer, but you have to start leveling all over again. Would've liked it if you kept your singleplayer level.
World of Warcraft - Played for a couple weeks, but it was too much grinding for me at the time. After playing Maple Story, I got used to grinding and could probably handle it now.
Guild Wars - I liked it, but not enough of my friends played it.
Dofus - Fun, but it was mainly french players. I couldn't make friends or ask for help.
Atlantica Online - Alright for free, but not going to keep playing.
Vindictus - Playing now. Amazing for free.
